PARIS, WARSAW AND GABRIELLE 2.55 COCO CHANEL

 If you love what you do, if your work means a lot to you, if you do not stop thinking about
your designs, the inspirations which come to you from everywhere- then whatever is created,
is always the result of love for the art of creation.
Emphatically said but that thought just came to my mind when looking at my
GABRIELLE 2.55 boater hat

Coco Chanel is one the most famous and well known women in the history of fashion.
I am not going to write about her life and work as there are others who did it best.
I just wanted to say that my boater had got its name after Gabrielle. Just because it was probably
the first shape of the hat that she created. Hers was straw hat. But the shape was the one.
One of my beloved too. Chic, elegant yet so simple and the most classical of all.

When I moved to Warsaw last July and opened my atelier on Paryska (Parisian) street :-),
it was a big step forward for me. And the name of the street was this cherry on the cake:-)
Even though the building itself is not beautiful at all- it looks as if it was forgotten after
theWWII- I am happy there. My clients come and are happy too.
So I assume there is just a good energy and that is what is most important.

At the back of my head I always keep this thought- COUTURE MEANS BEST MATERIALS,
BEST CRAFTMANSHIP, BEST DESIGN, BEST EVERYTHING. And I never forget that.
Sometimes however you get a glimpse of something and you are not able to forget it.
That was exactly what happened when I was handed a piece of a traveler's map of Warsaw.
Funny kind of a material- neither paper nor a fabric. Interesting above all.

And although I could choose a map of any capital city- I chose Warsaw.
My Paryska street is on the top. Lallu Chic atelier is marked with my logo.
And as Warsaw's Mermaid statue is the symbol of Warsaw and the Coat of arms-
it had to be placed on my hat.
Why Gabrielle and her famous bag 2.55 came to my mind? Because of the shape of the hat.
Because my collection was LE CHIC PARISIEN. Because my atelier is on Parisian street.
Because when thinking of Paris, you are not able not to have a single thought about a little great woman- Gabrielle Coco Chanel.

Spring is in fool bloom in Italy where I had just came back from.
If I had my Gabrielle 2.55 there- I would definitely wear it and the hat would be a great success
there. But it is already in London waiting to be exhibited on the 21st Century Hat Exhibition.
Let Warsaw and Paris shine in London :-)

Jeśli kochasz to co robisz, jeśli Twoja praca znaczy dla Ciebie bardzo wiele, jeśli nie przestajesz myśleć o swoich projektach a inspiracje spadają na Ciebie ze wszystkich możliwych stron-
wówczas to, co wyjdzie spod Twoich rąk jest prawie zawsze wynikiem miłości dla sztuki tworzenia.
Górnolotnie powiedziane ale do takiego właśnie wniosku doszłam patrząc na moją
GABRIELLE 2.55.

Coco Chanel jest jedną z najbardziej znanych i uznanych kobiet w świecie mody.
Nie zamierzam tu pisać ani o niej ani o jej życiu, jako że są inni, którzy zrobili to perfekcyjnie.
Chciałam tylko napisać, że mój kapelusz otrzymał imię na cześć Gabrielle, jako że ten kształt kapelusza był jednym z pierwszych jakie stworzyła. Wprawdzie był słomiany ale forma była dokładnie taka. Jedna z moich ulubionych. Elegancki, stylowy, choć bardzo prosty i klasyczny.
Wyobraźcie go sobie z wysokimi szpilkami i dżinsami! Super!

Kiedy przeprowadziłam się do Warszawy w lipcu zeszłego roku i otworzyłam swoje atelier
na ulicy Paryskiej ( lepszej być nie mogło:-) )- był to dla mnie wielki krok naprzód a nazwa ulicy
to ta przysłowiowa wisienka na torcie.
I chociaż budynek, w którym mieści się Atelier Lallu Chic jest chyba najbrzydszy na całej ulicy- wygląda jakby zapomniano o nim po Drugiej Wojnie Światowej- ja jestem tam szczęśliwa.
I wszystkie moje Klientki też są:-) Tak więc chyba dobre energie tam krążą i to jest najważniejsze.

Z tyłu głowy zawsze mam tą jedną, najważniejszą myśl dotycząca moich projektów-
COUTURE ZNACZY NAJLEPSZE MATERIAŁY, MISTRZOWSKIE WYKONANIE, PERFEKCYJNY DESIGN, NAJLEPSZE WSZYSTKO. I nigdy o tym nie zapominam.
Czasami jednak wpadnie mi w oko coś, o czym zapomnieć nie mogę i dokładnie tak było
z kapeluszem GABRIELLE 2.55. Kiedy wręczono mi kawałek mapy zrobionej z dziwnego
ni to papieru, ni to materiału- co by nie mówić- czegoś interesującego- Gabrielle objawiła
się natychmiast.

I chociaż mogłam wybrać mapę każdej innej stolicy świata- wybrałam Warszawę.
Moja ulica Paryska jest na samym środku. Zaznaczona logo Lallu Chic. A ponieważ syrenka
jest symbolem Warszawy i jej herbem- musiała stanąć w samym centrum:-)
A dlaczego przyszła mi do głowy Garbielle i jej słynna torebka 2.55?
Pewnie z powodu kształtu kapelusza, pewnie dlatego, że kolekcja nazywa się LE CHIC PARISIEN, na pewno dlatego, że moje atelier jest na ulicy Parsykiej i pewnie dlatego,
że kiedy myślimy o Paryżu- stolicy mody- nie możemy nie pomyśleć o wielkiej małej Kobietce- Gabrielle Coco Chanel.

We Włoszech, skąd właśnie wróciłam- wiosna już w pełnym rozkwicie.
Gdybym miała ze sobą GABRIELLE 2.55, zdecydowanie zrobiłby furorę na ulicach Bolonii.
Jednak GABRIELLE 2.55 jest już w Londynie i czeka na prezentację na wystawie
21st Century Hat Exhibition.
Niech Warszawa i Paryż zabłysną w Londynie!
