OUI, MONSIEUR GIVENCHY?

  
For those, who love fashion, the name GIVENCHY 
is probably instantly connected to Audrey Hepburn.
She was the one whom he loved at first sight as she had 
entered his atelier at the begining of her career. 
She was the most prominent proponent of Givenchy's fashion. 
He went on to design almost all the wardrobes she wore in her movies.They were both made for each other. She was his muse, 
he was her best friend and co-creator of her inimitable style. 
This "pas de deux" enriched the world of fashion in hundreds 
of the most feminine and chic outfits ever. At least in my opinion.
And speaking about hats- Audrey Hepburn was very lucky 
to live in times when leaving the house without a hat did not happen too often. That was fashion, that was the style.
Some of the hats Audrey wore were simple, some were not. 
Yet they were always chic, extremely 
elegant and once seen, they stayed in yourimagination for ever- 
if you know what I mean.

I am a huge fan of old movies. I could watch Audrey's films 
every Saturday and Sunday morning and each Friday evening. During the week designing and producing the most beautiful hats.
Old cinema- wonderful, smart screenplay. Sweet language. 
Views, music, shoes, hats and dresses, 
suits, cigars and long cigarette holders. 
Love and romance. Tiffany's and Rome. 
The most beautiful cars in the world.
Fashion in the background. Adorable and simply unforgettable.
Such a pity no one produces such movies any more. 
Such a loss, fashion does not love hats as much as they deserve.
Such a relief that there are still positively crazy milliners 
who show the world that the woman without
a hat is like a man without a car- just a crazy comparison;-) 
but working on an imagination best I think.

My awesome hat called "OUI, MONSIEUR GIVENCHY " 
is a tribute to Audrey Hepburn and Mr. Givenchy. 
Deep, navy blue fur felt hand blocked on 
a vintage shape would not be so adorable without golden, 
leather butterflies and golden string.
The hat itself is so elegant and so much "speaking" itself, 
than nothing else than a little black dress,
black Louboutin heels is needed to achieve the WOW! LOOK. 
Add a cashmere coat and here you are- 
modern Audrey on the streets of Paris, London, 
New York or Warsaw. Dream a dream!

Dla wielbicielek i wielbicieli mody nazwisko GIVENCHY zapewne od razu kojarzy się z jedną z najpiękniejszych aktorek- Audrey Hepburn.
Ona była tą, którą on pokochał od pierwszego wejrzenia jak tylko weszła do jego atelier na początku swojej kariery. 
To ona była najwybitniejszą promotorką i zwolenniczką 
projektów Huberta De Givenchy. 
On był tym, który projektował większość ubrań z prywatnej 
szafy Audrey, jak i tych, którymi zachwycała świat w swoich kreacjach filmowych. 
Byli stworzeni dla siebie. 
Ona była jego muzą, on jej najlepszym przyjacielem i kreatorem niepowtarzalnego stylu Audrey, który do dziś jest synonimem 
klasy i elegancji.
To właśnie ten duet wzbogacił świat mody o najbardziej kobiece, klasyczne zestawy, które kopiowane są mniej lub bardziej udanie po dziś dzień.
A mówiąc o kapeluszach- Audrey Hepburn miała to wielkie szczęście żyć w czasach, kiedy wyjście z domu bez nakrycia 
głowy było dla kobiety nie do pomyślenia. 
Taka była moda, takie były obyczaje.
Kapelusze, które prezentowała Audrey miały w sobie to coś. Czasem były bardzo proste, czasem zaskakująco dziwne. 
Zawsze jednak szalenie eleganckie i pozostające w pamięci na długo.

Jestem wielka fanką starego kina. I tylko starego kina. 
Filmy z Audrey mogłabym oglądać w każdy weekendowy 
poranek i w każdy piątkowy wieczór. 
W tygodniu tworząc piękne kapelusze rzecz jasna. 
Stare kino- piękne, sensowne scenariusze. 
Uroczy, kulturalny język. Widoki, muzyka, buty, kapelusze, garnitury, cygara i lufki do papierosów. 
Miłość i romans. Tiffany i Rzym. 
Najpiękniejsze samochody świata.
I moda w tle. Zjawiskowa. Niezapomniana.
Wielka szkoda, że nikt już nie potrafi stworzyć takich filmów. Takiego kina.
Wielka szkoda, że dzisiejsza moda nie chce pokochać kapeluszy tak jak na to zasługują.
I wielka radość i ulga, że świat pełen jest jednak szalonych kapeluszników i modystek,które pokazują, że kobieta bez kapelusza jest jak mężczyzna bez szybkiego samochodu- 
że użyję obrazowego porównania.

Mój przepiękny, klasyczny kapelusz, nazwany 
"OUI, MONSIEUR GIVENCHY" 
jest hołdem dla Audrey Hepburn i Pana Givenchy.
Ręcznie formowany na drewnianym bloku z lat 60-tych, 
szalenie kobiecy kapelusz z filcu z włosia królika, w kolorze prawie czarnego granatu nie byłby tak piękny i w pewnym sensie nowoczesny bez złotych motylków ze skóry oraz złotego sznurka. 
Wykończony oczywiście ręcznie wszywaną jedwabną podszewką, bez której żaden kapelusz nie jest prawdziwym dziełem sztuki.
"OUI, MONSIEUR GIVENCHY" jest tak elegancki, tak wiele "mówiący", że wydaje mi się, iż poza małą czarną i czarnymi szpilkami od Louboutin'a nie potrzeba kompletnie nic więcej, 
by wywołać tzw. efekt WOW! 
A gdy dodacie jeszcze kaszmirowy płaszcz...
Nowoczesna Audrey na ulicach Paryża, Londynu,Nowego Jorku czy Warszawy.
