Była śliczna, delikatna, wrażliwa. Kobieta o wielkiej urodzie i wielkim sercu. Była jedyną aktorką, którą wytwórnia filmowa Paramount Pictures wysyłała do Paryża, by osobiście kompletowała garderobę dla swoich postaci.

Każdy film z jej udziałem stawał się początkiem nowej mody, a kapelusze nosiła z takim wdziękiem, że sama Jacqueline Kennedy skopiowała ją włączając toczki noszone z tyłu głowy do swoich popisowych kreacji.

She wore hats with such a charm that even Jacqueline Kennedy started wearing pillbox hats at the back of her head to her most famous outfits.
